Sanding

Tiles are generally glazed surfaces and the first and foremost thing for your painting to evenly spread and adhere to your tile is to have a rough surface. Dusting

After the process of sanding is completed you must clear off the residue and dust off the tiles and also the floor. Dusting will prevent any dust particle to get into the paint and attach itself again on the tiles and waste your hard work.

Wiping

The dusted tiles are now to be wiped with a wet cloth so that to ensure that the tiles have no debris/dust particles left over them and the work of painting also get better on wiped tiles. After wiping the tiles let them dry for a while before starting to paint them.

Covering

If your tiles are already fixed on the wall then you need to cover the floor or the surface below the tiles as during painting the tiles there are possibilities that the paint can get spilled over or if not spilled some extra drops can fall over your flooring and may make the work more tiring and time consuming or may also ruin your floors/surfaces.

Painting

So now we can proceed with the main part that is painting the tiles. But before you start painting you may have to choose a color or if needed a color combination. Choosing a color solely depends on your choice and taste, so you may try out from a various range and styles of colors available in the market. But choosing good quality paint over some cheap paints is recommended as this will make the life of your tile and paint more durable and long lasting.

After choosing the paint you need the tools to paint so again there are many choices ranging from using a small brush to using a big roller. You may go for different size rollers, brushes, or may also use sprayers to paint the tiles. Whichever suits you and seems easy to you and fits your budget that will be the best choice. After the painting is done you must let the paint dry so that the work is not destroyed

Design

In tiles you have one more option that after the paint work is done you may add some designs by using different color paint or you may add textures to make them look more beautiful.
